Steven R. Talbot

Steven R. Talbot has extensive experience in data science and research, currently serving as the Group Leader for 'Preclinical Data Science' at Hannover Medical School since August 2017, focusing on severity assessment in animal-based research. In addition to this role, Steven is a Data Scientist for the FOR 2591 research group and the R2N Network, funded by the German Research Foundation. Since November 2009, Steven has freelanced as a Data Scientist and Consultant through Dr. Talbot Consulting, specializing in statistics, data analysis, and machine learning, while also lecturing in bioinformatics, statistics, and study design. Previous positions include Post Doctoral Fellow at Hannover Medical School and Project Manager at SYCOC GmbH. Steven holds a Diploma in Biochemistry and a Doctorate in Pathogen Detection from Leibniz University Hannover and the Bundeswehr Institute for Protective Technologies, respectively.
