Cam’ela Bisch

CEO at Hanover Area Family YMCA

Cam’ela Bisch is the CEO of Hanover Area Family YMCA. Cam’ela has been a professor of art at Blackburn College and the executive director of Gateway Region YMCA. Cam’ela is responsible for budget development, hiring and supervision of facility staff, development and implementation of Branch operations, program development, fundraising including Annual Support, special events, and capital, community involvement, and strategic planning. Cam’ela is also the Co-Lead of our associations Dimensions Inclusion Global (DIG) Committee.

After graduating from MacMurray College with a double major in art and religion, Cam’ela Bisch pursued a master’s degree in art at Fontbonne University. Cam’ela also holds a bachelor’s degree from Carthage College in art and religion. In addition to their educational background in the arts, Bisch has also completed several certifications from the YMCA of the USA, including organizational leadership, dimensions of diversity, introduction to fiscal management, leading successful teams, and living our cause.
