Alma Quintero has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alma began their career as an Office Administrative Coordinator at the Institute of International Education, where they developed a social media strategy and managed HR tasks. In 2013 and 2014, they pursued a Specialization Certificate Program in Energy and Environmental Policy and Management from Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, with a focus on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. In 2018, they were awarded the Duke Geneva Program Fellowship from Duke University. In 2011, they also participated in an exchange program at Trent University, specializing in International/Global Studies.
