Geoffrey Sheehan Gresk, MPH, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Their most recent position is as a Content Director at Hanover Research, where they lead research teams and provides data-driven recommendations to universities. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Instructor at Pace University.

Geoffrey's academic career includes serving as the Dean of Students & Senior Lecturer at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. During their time there, they held various roles such as EFL Lecturer, Assistant Dean, and Senior Lecturer in Business Administration. Geoffrey Sheehan is currently on a Leave of Absence from the classroom to work on a project with the Texas International Education Consortium, focusing on curriculum improvement and aligning AUIS with international best practices.

Before joining the academic field, Geoffrey gained experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Geoffrey Sheehan worked as a Project Coordinator at MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society, and as a Program Associate at the Environmental Defense Fund. Geoffrey Sheehan also served as an Education Outreach Specialist at BEHIV - Better Existence with HIV.

Geoffrey's passion for global engagement led him to join the Peace Corps as a volunteer from 2002 to 2004.

Geoffrey Sheehan Gresk, MPH, PhD completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Grand Valley State University from 1996 to 2001. In 2007 and 2008, they pursued a Master of Public Health degree in Public Health Education and Promotion at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. In 2015 to 2021, Geoffrey completed their Educational Leadership and Higher Education Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Additionally, they participated in a semester abroad program in International Business at Krakow University of Economics in 2000.
