Annika Rogstam

Senior Scientist, CMC at Hansa Biopharma

Annika Rogstam has several years of experience in the field of biopharmaceuticals and protein production. Annika is currently working as a Senior Scientist, CMC at Hansa Biopharma, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to that, Annika worked at Lund University as a Research engineer for almost 10 years, from February 2012 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for all steps in the production of recombinant proteins, including design, cloning, expression, purification, and analysis. Annika also worked at the University of Copenhagen as a Postdoc from January 2010 to December 2011, where they conducted research on stress responses in bacteria and taught laboratory exercises in food microbiology. Additionally, Annika gained experience as a Postdoc at INRA from September 2009 to December 2009, where they studied redox regulation in bacteria and learned to work with class II bacteria.

Annika Rogstam completed their education at Lund University in Sweden. Annika obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Microbiology from 2004 to 2009. Before starting their PhD, Annika Rogstam also attended the Lunds biomedicinska och biomolekylära forskarskola at Lund University from 2003 to 2004, although it is unclear if they obtained a specific degree during that time.
