Karin Blom

Karin Blom has over 12 years of experience in the clinical research field. Karin is currently working at Hansa Biopharma as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator, starting in February 2022. Before that, Karin worked at TFS - Clinical Contract Research Organization from April 2019 to May 2022, holding the position of Clinical Research Manager. Prior to that, they were a Clinical Research Associate at Trial Form Support from March 2014 to April 2019. Karin also worked as a Clinical Research Associate at Karolinska University Hospital from September 2013 to March 2014. Before transitioning to the clinical research field, they worked at Stena Line as a CAV from July 2000 to October 2011. In 2008, Karin began their career in the research industry as a Research Assistant at PPD Scandinavia AB and worked there until December 2010.

Karin Blom obtained a Master of Biomedical sciences degree from Lund University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Later, in 2010, they attended IHM Business School for Project Management studies. In the same year, they also pursued studies on HIV/AIDS at Karolinska Institutet. Their education history includes a period from 2007 to 2008 when they attended Uppsala University for studies in Clinical drug development.
