Marie Mårtensson-Ruscic has extensive work experience in the healthcare and research field. Marie began their career as a Registered Nurse and Research Nurse at the Department of Infection Diseases in Malmö Allmänna sjukhus in 1986, where they worked until 2001. Marie then moved to the Department of Oncology at the University Hospital in Malmö, working as a Research Nurse for ten years. In 2011, Marie joined Region Skåne as a Trial Coordinator and remained in that role until 2012 when they became a Clinical Research Manager at R&D Centre Skåne, Clinical Study Support. From 2015 onwards, Marie worked at Centrum För Primärvårdsforskning (CPF) as a Research Nurse, specializing in clinical research in primary health care. Their most recent role was as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Hansa Medical AB (publ), starting in October 2018. Marie's experience includes various responsibilities such as coordinating clinical study groups, implementing good clinical practice (GCP), establishing patient information documents, monitoring studies, and managing clinical research projects.
Marie Mårtensson-Ruscic began their education in 1983, where they started their health care train. Marie completed their training and received a degree as a Diplomed trained nurse in 1985. In 1999, Marie attended Lunds University, where they pursued a degree in Clinical trials and research. Marie then furthered their education in 2013 at Lund University, specializing in Quality assurance and quality control in clinical trials and research, and obtained a 15p degree.
