Haomiao Wang

Haomiao Wang has worked as a Junior Project Manager at Hanshow since 2023. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2023, Haomiao worked at Cornell University as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant. As a Graduate Student Researcher, Haomiao led a ten-student solar subgroup, created a radiation simulation tool for defining Agrivoltaic systems, and established Internet of Things microclimate monitoring systems at solar farms. Haomiao also attended a conference and presented a poster on their simulation tool. Prior to Cornell, Haomiao worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2018 to 2020 and as a Mechanical Design and Lean Management Intern at Siemens Transformer (Jinan) Co., Ltd in 2019. Haomiao also worked as an Intern in the Angel Investment Department at TusStar in 2016.

Haomiao Wang began their education by earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2016 and 2020. Later, in 2020, they enrolled in Cornell University and will earn a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering between 2020 and 2023. Additionally, in 2018, they attended a Summer Study Abroad program in Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University. In terms of additional certifications, Haomiao obtained a Building Science Training for Solar Decathlon certificate from RDH Building Science in February 2020 and a 49th IEEE PVSC Certificate of Attendance from the IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference in June 2022.
