April Yang focuses her practice on healthcare law and related litigation. Her experience includes representing clients in complex civil matters involving data privacy and cybersecurity related consumer class actions, and whistleblower cases arising under the False Claims Act and California False Claims Act. Previously, April was a Legal Fellow at the USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health, where she consulted for and drafted evaluation reports commissioned by international governance bodies, such as the World Health Organization and the United Nations, civil society organizations, policymakers, and academic institutions to assess the impact of public health initiatives, specifically relating to HIV/AIDS legislation and legal protections.
