Matt Tucker

Matt Tucker has over 25 years of work experience in various leadership and learning roles. Matt'smost recent position was as Head of Talent Development at Hanson Professional Services Inc. starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Horace Mann, where they served as Director of Talent Management, Director of Learning Solutions, Manager of Learning Solutions, and Learning Consultant from 2016 to 2022. Matt also worked as a Training Consultant at COUNTRY Financial® from 2012 to 2016 and as a Performance Manager at Decatur Memorial Hospital from 2011 to 2012. Before that, they held roles at Archer Daniels Midland Company as a Global Learning and Development Program Facilitator and Leadership & Team Development Facilitator from 2004 to 2011. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor in the Department of Communication at Millikin University from 2000 to 2010 and at Bradley University from 1997 to 2000.

Matt Tucker holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Communication from Illinois State University. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication from Eastern Illinois University. In addition to their formal education, Matt has obtained various certifications, including Managing Employee Performance from the University of Minnesota, Managing Talent from the University of Michigan, Certified Facilitator from Fierce Conversations, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People - Facilitator from FranklinCovey, and Extended DISC Facilitator from Extended DISC® USA, U.K., Canada, and Singapore. Matt has also completed the 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity - Facilitator and InsideOut Coaching Facilitator programs, although the institutions and dates are not specified. Furthermore, Matt has expressed an interest in pursuing Prosci Change Management Certification and has completed the Speed of Trust - Facilitator program offered by FranklinCovey.
