Hongyu Chen

Hongyu Chen is a Product Developer at HANWHA AZDEL, Inc. since January 2019, specializing in innovative material solutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from August 2012 to September 2018, where significant contributions included the design of a novel fiber length-measurement technique and enhancements to stiffness and fiber orientation models. Hongyu Chen holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University (2012) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution (2009).
