Anna Sapak

Anna Sapak is a seasoned policy manager with extensive experience in health policy advocacy and management. Currently serving as a Policy Manager at HANYS since January 2016, Anna develops and advocates for legislation and policies aimed at improving hospital-insurance plan interactions, while also leading educational sessions on industry best practices. Previously held positions include Policy Specialist and Excelsior Service Fellow at the New York State Department of Civil Service, where Anna contributed to the creation of a statewide performance evaluation system and supported strategic planning initiatives. Anna began their career as a Legislative Intern at the Adirondack Council and previously worked as a Graduate Intern at the Department of Civil Service. Anna holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Michigan State University.
