Alexander Schmidt

Alexander Schmidt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management roles. Currently serving as General Manager and Head of Engineering and R&D Department at Hapa AG since September 2013, Alexander also contributes as a member of the board. Prior to this, roles included Technical Manager Electrical Engineering at Belimed Sauter AG and various engineering positions at Kulicke and Soffa, spanning from Senior Motion Control Engineer to Manager Electrical Engineering. Earlier career experiences included electronics technician positions at Oralia GmbH and Meder Electronic. Alexander holds a degree in Mechatronics from Hochschule für Wirtschaft & Technik St. Gallen and an electronic technician qualification from the University of Konstanz.
