Vedran Maršić

Vedran Maršić has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and computer technology.

Vedran currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineering at Happening since October 2022.

Prior to joining Happening, Vedran worked at Axilis from March 2014 to October 2022, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead. Vedran had full stack experience in developing JavaScript heavy single-page web apps, API services, Redis cache, and NoSQL store for asynchronous relational database storing.

Before Axilis, Vedran worked as a Teacher and Organiser at Udruga informatičara Karlovačke županije from June 2011 to October 2022. Vedran taught programming to primary and high school students, with a focus on C and also experimented with Scratch.

Vedran also had experience as a Software Developer at Ekobit from September 2012 to March 2014 and at Lamaro digital d.o.o. from February 2012 to August 2012. At Lamaro digital d.o.o., Vedran contributed to the support of the eBook lifecycle and worked on the company's book store, Took Book.

Vedran'searlier experience includes working as a Computer Technician at Ord. op. med. dr. Željko Maršić, Žakanje from January 2003 to November 2011. In this role, they provided computer and network maintenance services, advised on equipment and program acquisitions, and coordinated with specialized maintenance program providers.

Vedran also had a summer practice as a Computer Technician at Blink in June 2008, where they worked on creating a custom Live XP CD and studied network technologies, particularly NAT.

Vedran continued their education at the same institution and earned an MSc degree in Computing from 2010 to 2012.
