Vlad Mirel

Vlad Mirel has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Vlad started their career as a Junior Software Developer at Net BRINEL S.A in 2012, where they developed web pages and a Windows 8 application. Later, they worked as a Software Developer at ULLINK CC, contributing to software development until 2014.

In 2010, Vlad became a Trainer at Microsoft Student Partners UTCN, where they taught other students Microsoft technologies and Object-Oriented Programming. Vlad also developed XNA and .net applications during this time.

Vlad then joined the Distributed Systems Research Laboratory as a Research Assistant from 2013 to 2014. Vlad gained research experience in this role.

In 2018, Vlad joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer for Microsoft Teams, working on the development of the platform until mid-2019.

Currently, Vlad is working as a Software Engineer at Happeo, an intranet solution provider for fast-moving companies. Vlad helps connect teams with the knowledge, news, and tools they need to excel in their work.

Vlad Mirel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Vlad then pursued a Master's degree in Cloud System and Services at the Université de Rennes I from 2014 to 2015. Following that, Vlad Mirel enrolled at Aalto University from 2015 to 2016 and earned another Master's Degree in Mobile Services. Additionally, they completed several certification courses, including "Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems: Communication" from Coursera Verified Certificates in June 2015, "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" from Coursera in March 2015, and "Computational Investing, Part I" from Coursera Verified Certificates in November 2014, among others.
