Joshua Bungcayao

Joshua Bungcayao has over 10 years of work experience in web design and development. In 2005, they began their career as a Web Content Specialist and Web Production Artist at Arbonne International. In 2012, they worked as a Web Designer at Urban Decay Cosmetics. In 2014, they worked as a Web Designer & Front-End Developer at ACM Technologies, Inc. From 2016-2019, they worked as a UI Developer at POPin. From 2010-2021, they have worked as a Freelancer (Bungcayao.com) as a UI Designer & Developer. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Shopify Front End Developer at Happiest Baby (the maker of SNOO). In this role, they play a role in helping manage multiple (global) Shopify stores with a tightly-knit marketing group. Their responsibilities include HTML, CSS, Javascript, Liquid, Metafields, REST APIs, JSON Schemas, auditing site accessibility issues, problem solving, building for an accessible web experience, developing product templates, site features, site fixes and maintenance, helping design quick ux prototypes in FIgma, and refactoring existing code for better performance, scalability, and reusability.

Joshua Bungcayao attended UC Irvine from 2001 to 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts.
