Kristan Toth has held various roles over the years, starting in 2006 as a Family Planning and Reproductive Counselor at The Philadelphia Women's Center. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the Executive Director at Les Petits Cherubs. In 2007, they also worked as an Adolescent Therapist at Congreso de Latinos Unidos. Kristan then joined Planned Parenthood of New York City, Inc. in 2010 as a Women's Health Counselor. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as an Office Manager at Amobee (formerly Adconion Direct). In the same year, they also started their own counseling and coaching practice called KristanListens, where they specialized in empowerment counseling and mindfulness training. In 2018, they joined Sensi Media Group, LLC as the Director of Operations before becoming the Head of People in 2019. Kristan's most recent role is as the Co-Founder and Chief People Officer at Happy the Movement, a platform for emotional support.
Kristan Toth began their education at Harriton High School, where they earned their High School Diploma from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they attended Boston University from 1995 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Later on, in 2010 to 2011, they pursued Drug and Alcohol Counseling at John Jay College (CUNY), although it is not mentioned if they obtained a degree. Kristan then went on to pursue further education at New York University, where they obtained a degree in Educational Psychology with a field of study in the Psychology of Parenthood from 2001 to 2003. Kristan also completed certification in Meditation Instruction at the American Institute of Health Care Professionals from 2011 to 2012. Furthermore, they engaged in an online program on The Science of Happiness at UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center in 2014. Finally, they returned to Boston University and achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 1995 to 1999.
