Mirva Mustonen-Tarvo has a diverse work experience in human resources and administration roles. Mirva also gained experience as an Office Manager at Nedecon - Network Development Consulting Plc, where they managed HR processes and general administration. Earlier in their career, Mirva worked as an Administration Coordinator at Marnet Services Oy. Mirva Mustonen-Tarvo has a diverse education history. Mirva attended Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a BBA degree in HRM. In 2018, they pursued further education in Positive Psychology at Joylla | Helsinki Summer University, completing a degree as a Positive Psychology Practitioner. In 2022, Mirva Mustonen-Tarvo enrolled in Joylla | Tampere Summer University to obtain supplementary studies for their Positive Psychology Practitioner degree, which they completed in 2023.

The following year, in 2017, they became a Wellbeing at Work Expert certified by Elo. Mirva'smost recent certification was in February 2022 when they acquired the ITXM Foundation certification from HappySignals Ltd.
