Rebecca Fontenette

Rebecca Fontenette serves as the Director of Engineering & Strategic Operations at Haptech Defense Systems since November 2022, following a substantial tenure at Chevron from August 2013 to March 2022 where Rebecca held multiple roles including Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager overseeing facility design projects. At Chevron Oronite’s Oak Point Chemical Plant, Rebecca managed 10-20 projects annually with budgets exceeding $1MM and provided essential engineering support to operations and maintenance teams. Additionally, Rebecca excelled in various capacities such as Facilities Engineer, System Delivery Engineer, and Subsea Controls Engineer, demonstrating strong project management skills and a transformative approach to project execution and stakeholder engagement. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University between 2009 and 2013.
