Javi Ortega Bueno

Javi Ortega Bueno has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Javi co-founded DudyFit, a software platform that helps personal trainers and nutritionists manage their clients and services. Javi focused on digitalizing the business and increasing engagement and revenue.

Prior to DudyFit, Javi worked as a Product Owner at Prosegur, where they coordinated the assessment of products and services and played a key role in the company's digital transformation efforts. Javi collaborated with senior managers and stakeholders across multiple countries to ensure the allocation of resources.

Javi also gained experience at Indra, where they worked as a Consultant at the Energy Department. Javi contributed to R&D projects focused on smart grid metering, energy management, and storage integration.

Before their role at Indra, Javi started their career as a Trainee at Prosegur's R&D Department, where they played a part in the development and validation of advanced security products.

Javi's early experience includes working as an Assistant at the Physics Department of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Javi Ortega Bueno has a diverse education history. Javi started by obtaining a degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2010 to 2014. Javi then pursued further education, completing a Master's degree in Industrial Economics and Markets (Energy, Transport and Telecommunications) at the same university from 2014 to 2016.

Javi also holds several certifications, indicating their expertise in various fields. In 2012, they received the First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge, demonstrating their proficiency in the English language. In 2013, they underwent an English Language Immersion program at Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, achieving intermediate oral fluency. In 2017, they completed a course on project management with Agile methodologies and Lean approach offered by Miríada X. Javi also obtained the EF English Live Nivel 10 - Intermedio Alto Completion Test certification from EF Education First in 2017, further affirming their language skills. Moreover, Javi holds the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in 2018.

More recently, in 2019, Javi attended Tetuan Valley's Startup School #19, focusing on entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.
