Eric Trout

Eric Trout has a strong background in logistics and transportation management. Eric is currently working as the Vice President for Harbor Freight Transport Corp since September 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, Domestic Network and Solutions at Century Distribution Systems from July 2014 to September 2023. Before that, they worked as a Traffic Manager at Owens & Minor from September 2013 to July 2014.

From June 2004 to February 2013, Eric was the Director of Business Logistics Solutions at Estes Level 2 Logistics. In this role, they focused on business development, process improvement, and project implementation, with a particular emphasis on information technology tools and transportation management systems.

Eric also gained experience as the Director of Business Development at Helix Logistics in 2013. Eric has earlier served as the Manager of Carrier Relations at APL Logistics in 2002, where they were responsible for transportation procurement and implementation of new transportation programs.

Lastly, Eric worked as a Business Representative at APL Logistics-MeadWestvaco from 1997 to 2002. In this role, they managed dedicated logistics groups, handled transportation management, and oversaw the implementation of multi-modal supply chain initiatives.

Eric Trout attended Gettysburg College from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business.
