Paul D. M. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Paul D. began their career as a student programmer at Johns Hopkins University in 2008 and later took on various roles such as a security intern at Independent Security Evaluators, a penetration tester at the University of Michigan, and a graduate intern at Applied Communication Sciences. Paul D. pursued their Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University and worked as a teaching assistant for security and privacy and as a co-instructor for introduction to hardware hacking, receiving exceptional feedback. In 2016, they joined Harbor Labs as a research scientist and later became the director of firmware security and senior research scientist.

Paul D. M. received a High School and Middle School Diploma from Moses Brown School from 2001 to 2007. Paul D. then attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Paul D. later attained a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from the same institution from 2011 to 2013 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the same field from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt from Six Sigma Integration, Inc in 2009.
