Chris Barber has been working in the software and engineering industry since 1985. Chris began their career as an Engineering Intern at General Electric, followed by a Hardware Engineer (digital) role at Texas Instruments. In 1990, they moved to Mizar as a Hardware Engineer (digital). In 1996, they joined Lucas Controls as a Sr. Hardware/Software Engineer and Engineering Team Leader. In 2002, they became a Sr. Software Architect at Orikon Solutions. From 2004 to 2006, they were Co-founder, CTO of Harbour Mastery, Inc. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Enservio Select. Since 2010, they have been an Embedded Systems/DSP Consultant at DEKA Research & Development. Since 2016, they have been a Lead Software Developer at Neuraxis.
Chris Barber attended Jacksonville University from 1981 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. Chris then attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1984 to 1986, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering.
