Marah Braye

Marah Braye is an accomplished arts executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the contemporary art sector. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Harbourfront Centre since 2014, Marah previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Biennale of Sydney from 2006 to 2014, significantly contributing to its reputation as a leading international festival of contemporary art. Prior roles include General Manager at Sherman Galleries, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and artist projects, and Managing Editor at Craftsman House Fine Arts Publishing and Visual Arts and Culture: An International Journal of Contemporary Art. Marah began a career in publishing as Publishing Manager at Harper Collins Publishers.
