Paul Van Kooperen is the current CEO at [Hard Blue Si-Carbons](/org/hard-blue-si-carbons). Paul has previously held positions at Qorium B.V., FMA B.V., and PNO CEE BV. Paul has been in the business world for over 25 years, starting their career as a petroleum engineer at Shell in 1984. In 1998, they transitioned to business development and became a Senior Partner at PNO Consultants. In 2011, they became Managing Partner at PNO CEE BV and held that position until 2014. Paul has extensive experience in obtaining grants and tax incentives for clients and has been instrumental in the growth of PNO Consultants.

Paul Van Kooperen has a MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a doctoral degree in geology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam).

Started his own venture in the installation and commissioning of automated machine lines at large hatchery farms, including onsite training of process operators. 2013 -2018 ran for the Belgian Agristo its technical department of one of its largest French fries processing plants. Since 2018 technical consultant at Thermo Fisher Netherlands

Jacob Van Kooten

BSc. in physics and engineering and trained as a commercial pilot. 12 years technical associate for biofuels process technology for Gulf Hydrocarbon Inc. (Houston, Texas).

Jonathan Lewis

The leadership team at Hard Blue Si-Carbons has a history of experience in finance and geology. The team has a wealth of experience in managing businesses and developing international business partnerships. The team is also educated to a high level, with degrees in management and finance from the Rotterdam School of Management and geology from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
