Katarzyna Piotrowicz

Katarzyna Piotrowicz has a solid work experience background. Katarzyna is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Hard Rock Digital since February 2023. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Freelance Programmer and IT Consultant starting from July 2021.

Katarzyna also worked at Genesis Global Limited as a Senior Software Developer from October 2021 to January 2023. Here, they were involved in developing a management platform for online casinos, focusing on data gathering, migration, synchronization, and custom report creation. Unfortunately, the cooperation ended due to company insolvency.

Before joining Genesis Global Limited, Katarzyna worked at EPAM Systems from August 2019 to June 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to a greenfield project in the financial industry utilizing AWS platform, Java, Spring, and various databases. Katarzyna also mentored junior colleagues and participated in technical evaluation in the recruitment process. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer at EPAM Systems from July 2018 to August 2019.

Earlier in their career, Katarzyna worked as a Software Engineer at PGS Software S.A. from March 2017 to June 2018, gaining experience in different Java-based applications, including web applications, integration projects, and cloud projects. During their time at Sabre Corporation from April 2016 to March 2017, they held the position of Java Software Developer - Contributor. Katarzyna also worked as a Java Software Engineer at Ailleron from April 2014 to March 2016, where they were involved in developing backend telecommunication platforms and implementing international technical standards using frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE.

Katarzyna's career began with an internship as a Quality Assurance Tester at ABB from July 2013 to September 2013. During this internship, they focused on writing automated tests in Selenium Web Driver and testing the frontend of a platform providing information about ABB clients worldwide.

Katarzyna Piotrowicz completed their Master of Applied Computer Science degree from AGH University of Krakow from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Applied Computer Science degree from the same university, studying from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have received several certifications, including the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle in November 2018, and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certifications from Amazon Web Services in November 2017 and December 2017 respectively.
