Diana Mcdonnell

Diana McDonnell is a veteran healthcare researcher who has focused her career on patient-reported and community-based assessments. She has a rich knowledge of the healthcare field and a strong commitment to serving the community. She is skilled at designing, implementing, and conducting client-centered applied research and a variety of statistical methods including multiple regression, logistic regression, factor analysis, longitudinal data analysis, marginal structural modeling, and propensity score weighting and analysis, among others.

Before joining Harder+Company in 2015, Diana was a research epidemiologist at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health, where she led the evaluation of a community-based participatory research project assessing an online smoking cessation program. She has also worked at the San Mateo County Health Department, John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, and the New York City Department of Health. Diana serves on the Board of Directors for Lyon-Martin Health Service, a primary care community clinic focused on the health of lesbians and transgender people. She is also a scientific grant reviewer for the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), serving on the study section evaluating patient centered outcomes research methods. An animal lover, Diana is dedicated to her cat Tina Turner and is a board member of the Tenth Life Foundation, which aims to reduce the number of unadoptable community cats that are killed at animal shelters.
