Vanessa is a skilled researcher with policy and program evaluation experience in the areas of public health, nutrition, and brain health. She offers broad quantitative and qualitative experience collecting and analyzing data through surveys, interviews, and a range of administrative databases, as well as communicating findings to a variety of audiences. She is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to joining Harder+Company, Vanessa was a research and policy analyst at the Food Research and Action Center, and a fellow at Center for Cities and Schools and Conscious Kitchen. She also supported research at the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys going on long morning runs, reading, and wandering around Los Angeles.
