Cristian Bonetto

Cristian Bonetto is an experienced travel writer with a diverse professional background. Since June 2006, Cristian has contributed to Lonely Planet by researching and writing travel guidebooks and online articles, along with presenting international travel videos. In addition, Cristian has been involved with Touch Screen Travels since June 2021 as an app content creator, focusing on the inaugural Australia travel app. As a freelance author for Hardie Grant Publishing since August 2018, Cristian has researched, written, and photographed travel guides for Rome Precincts and Venice Pocket Precincts. Cristian also writes travel articles for The Telegraph from June 2014 to the present. Earlier in the career, Cristian worked as a freelance scriptwriter for Fremantle Media Australia from 2003 to 2004 and for Seven Network Australia from 2002 to 2003. Cristian holds an Arts (Honours) degree in English and Political Science from the University of Melbourne, attained between 1994 and 1998.
