Matt Rudinski

Matt Rudinski has a diverse range of work experience in the field of motion graphics and design. Matt is currently a Staff Motion Graphic Designer at HardPin since March 2023. Before that, starting in November 2016, they worked as a Freelance Designer and Animator for various clients such as HBO, Netflix, and NBCUniversal. In this role, they created broadcast elements, marketing graphics, explainer videos, and more while managing competing deadlines and project timelines.

Prior to their freelance work, Matt had experience at WarnerMedia, where they served as the Lead Motion Graphic Artist at Courageous Studios from December 2015 to November 2016. Their responsibilities included ideation and creation of motion graphic assets, as well as providing guidance during project planning and pitching. Their animation and art direction work contributed to the studio winning awards, including a Cannes Silver Lion and an AdWeek ARC Award for Best Use of Animation.

Matt also worked at Zealot Inc as a Senior Designer from September 2014 to December 2015. Here, they conceptualized and created animated title cards for film trailers and promos, and played a role in growing the design team. Additionally, they worked within client branding guidelines and toolkit project files.

In their earlier career, Matt gained experience as a Motion Graphic Designer at Maker Studios Inc from January 2013 to March 2014, where they redesigned and branded YouTube channels and was responsible for motion assets. Matt also interned at Big Machine Design from January 2012 to April 2012, assisting with various aspects of graphics production for television, promotions, and commercials.

Matt's work experience also includes positions at The Emerson Channel, Brickyard VFX, EVVY Awards, and the Kevin Bright Workshop, where they held roles as a Creative Director, VFX Intern, Lead Graphic Designer, and Opening Title Sequence Producer/Designer, respectively.

Matt Rudinski attended Niskayuna High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a New York State Regents High School Diploma (With Honors) in the field of High School/Secondary Diploma Programs. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Emerson College from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a B.A. degree in Animation & Motion Media.
