Darren Worth

Darren Worth has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Darren is currently working as the Head of Commercial Finance at Hargreaves Lansdown since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Commercial Finance and Business Planning at Screwfix from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, and team management. Darren also worked as the Director of Operational Finance at Screwfix from 2019 to 2020, overseeing a team of 80 colleagues and managing financial reporting and audits. Before joining Screwfix, they worked as the Finance Director - EMEA at Cheetah Digital from 2017 to 2018, where they led finance operations and supported business strategy. Darren began their career at BAE Systems as a Finance - FLDP Grad. in 2003. Darren also has experience serving as a Trustee at The Screwfix Foundation from 2019 to 2022. Overall, they have demonstrated strong financial leadership, expertise in planning and analysis, and experience in team management throughout their career.

Darren Worth has a BA (Hons) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Nottingham Trent University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Darren also holds an ACMA qualification from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, completed by 2008.
