Mohamed Riyaz Aboobacker

Mohamed Riyaz Aboobacker is a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator with extensive experience in the construction industry, currently working at Harinsa Contracting Company Qatar WLL since January 2019. Notable projects include the Yasmeen City Package and the Design & Build Dream Hotel Project, showcasing expertise in post-contract commercial activities for complex developments. Prior to this, experience was gained at Shapoorji Pallonji Qatar, where responsibilities included managing commercial activities for a mixed-use tower project at Pearl Qatar and the South East Car Park Project at Qatar Foundation. Initial career beginnings at Lead Engineering Construction & Company in Sri Lanka involved pre-contract activities for various projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Construction Project Management and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University, along with an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the College of Technology, Sri Lanka.
