Kaela Kirchgatter

Kaela Kirchgatter has a strong background in the medical and scientific fields. Kaela currently works at Harland Medical Systems, Inc. as the Materials/Manufactured Chemistry Manager, where they oversee the day-to-day operations of the materials division and manages new product commercialization projects for medical device surface enhancement. Prior to this role, they were a Manufacturing Supervisor at the same company.

Before joining Harland Medical Systems, Inc., Kaela worked at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics as a Scientist II - Process Engineering. In this position, they served as a subject matter expert and primary support function for the antibody production group, implementing process improvements and managing nonconformances.

Kaela also gained research experience at R&D Systems as a Research Associate and at the Kinkel Lab, University of Minnesota as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Additionally, they worked as a QC Technician at BIO-CAT Microbials and as a Laboratory Student at Fairview Health Services earlier in their career.

Kaela Kirchgatter pursued their education by starting attending Normandale Community College from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained their Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Kaela then continued their academic journey at the University of Minnesota from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry.
