Sophia Young

Sophia Young is a dedicated sports management and media communication graduate from Shenandoah University, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts. Currently serving as an Orientation Leader, Sophia is also involved with various athletics-related roles, including work-study positions in athletics communications and serving as an assistant for the Shenandoah baseball team. Volunteer experience includes positions with the Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens, as well as team leadership in the Opportunity Scholars Program, aimed at helping first-generation college students. Additionally, Sophia has held the role of Director of Gameday Operations for the Purcellville Cannons and has volunteered for events such as the Orange Blossom Classic. Through extensive hands-on experiences, Sophia has developed a strong foundation in event planning, media relations, and youth mentorship.
