Zmelda Garcia, MBA, MLS(ASCP)cm, is an experienced microbiologist and medical laboratory scientist with a strong background in clinical laboratory science. Currently, Zmelda holds positions at the Texas Department of State Health Services and Harlingen Medical Center, after previously serving at South Texas Health System. Prior to a career in healthcare, Zmelda worked as a Telecommunications Specialist at Dish Network, focusing on retention, billing, customer service, and technical support. Zmelda's educational credentials include a Master's of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
