George Nomikos

George Nomikos has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. George currently works as the Vice President of Clinical Strategy at Harmony Biosciences since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Advisor at miCure Therapeutics starting from May 2022. George also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Anacalypsis Therapeutics from January 2021 and as an Advisor at Kariya Pharmaceuticals from January 2021.

Previously, George co-founded NHTherapeutics in August 2013 and served as a Cofounder & Advisor, focusing on clinical research and development. George also held positions at Lipocine Inc., working as the Chief Medical Officer from November 2022 to April 2023, and at Scholar Rock, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Medical & Clinical Sciences and Head of Muscle Therapeutics from February 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and Head of Medical Research for the Muscle Franchise at Scholar Rock from August 2019 to February 2021.

George also has experience working as a Senior Medical Director, Global Medical Lead at Biogen from November 2017 to August 2019, as a Senior Medical Director at SAGE Therapeutics from August 2016 to November 2017, and as a Senior Medical Director, Global Medical Lead at Takeda from March 2014 to July 2016.

George Nomikos has a PhD in psychiatry from The University of British Columbia. George also holds a doctorate in psychopharmacology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an MD in medicine from the same institution. George obtained a National License to Practice Medicine from the Medical Board of Sweden in 1995 and another one from the Medical Board of Greece in 1986.
