Tom Briston

Tom Briston is currently the Research Director for Cell and Molecular Biology at Harness Therapeutics, previously known as Transine Therapeutics. Previously, Tom has held positions as a Senior Scientist and Project Leader at Eisai EMEA, where Tom led pre-clinical drug discovery programs in collaboration with UCL focusing on neurodegenerative diseases. Tom's research background includes investigating therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative diseases and studying mitochondrial proteins in mammalian cells. With a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UCL, Tom brings a strong scientific background to their role in the pharmaceutical industry.
