Brijendra Rao

Brijendra Rao is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in recruiting for research and development teams across various technology firms. Currently serving as Lead Recruiter (R&D) at Harness since 2024, Brijendra is responsible for developing hiring strategies and roadmaps. Previously, Brijendra held the position of Talent Acquisition Lead at Elastic, where contributions included building the Bangalore R&D center from 9 to over 160 personnel. As Lead Recruiter for Cloudera, Brijendra managed the APAC engineering recruitment team and significantly expanded the Bangalore engineering team. Earlier roles also included senior positions at Intuit, Google, and Sasken, focusing on engineering talent acquisition. Brijendra holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
