Joseph Mendola

Joseph Mendola is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in controls and innovation management. Currently serving as the Controls and Innovation Engineering Manager at Harpak-ULMA Packaging, LLC since November 2023, Joseph leads an augmented reality team focused on packaging and automated systems. Previously, Joseph held the position of R&D System Design Staff Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where involvement in a significant $200+ million packaging automation project took place. Other notable roles include Controls Engineer at Electronic Theatre Controls, achieving remarkable design engineering efficiency and innovating control systems, and earlier positions at Delphi and MKS Instruments, where Joseph contributed to global machine integration and failure analysis. Joseph holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
