Violet Lucca

Violet Lucca has extensive work experience in the media industry. Violet is currently the VP of Digital at Harper's Magazine, a role they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Web Editor at Harper's Magazine starting in June 2018. Before joining Harper's Magazine, Violet worked as a Freelance Writer, starting in August 2009. Earlier in their career, they were a Web Producer at Film Comment Magazine from January 2014 to June 2018, and from December 2011 to January 2014. Violet also served as an Editorial Intern at Film Comment Magazine from November 2009 to December 2011. Violet's first industry experience was as an Intern at New Yorker Films from June 2008 to October 2008.

Violet Lucca began their education in 2003 at the University of Iowa, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies & Production. Violet attended the university until 2007, completing their undergraduate studies. In 2007, they enrolled at New York University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Cinema Studies, which they completed in 2008.
