Edna Johnson

Edna E. Johnson, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Procurement Services at the Harris County Department of Education, a position held since July 2021, where responsibilities include developing monitoring systems for quality improvement and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Previously, Edna Johnson held various roles at Spring Branch ISD from January 2010 to August 2023, including Manager of Purchasing and Operations, Special Revenue Accountant, and Contract Specialist. Earlier experience includes serving as Audit Manager at Marriott Houston Westchase from May 2005 to January 2010. Edna Johnson holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of New England, a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Texas Southern University.
