Cameron Decker, MD, LP, FACEP, FAEMS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Cameron served as the Medical Director at Harris County Emergency Corps and also held the position of Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Cameron was the Medical Team Manager at Texas A&M Task Force 1 and served as the Chief Medical Director for EMS at Rice University. Cameron also worked as a Medical Director for Emergency Medical Task Force - 6 and as a Physician Site Reviewer for The Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS). Additionally, they worked as a Sergeant & Tactical Physician at the Harris County Sheriff's Office and as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the StratEx Stratospheric Freefall Project. Cameron served as the President of the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA) from 2011 to 2014.

Cameron Decker, MD, LP, FACEP, FAEMS has an extensive education history. Cameron started their educational journey in 2003 at Rice University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Policy Studies, with a focus on Healthcare Policy and Management. Cameron successfully completed this program in 2007.

Following their undergraduate studies, Dr. Decker enrolled at Baylor College of Medicine and earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in 2011. Cameron then continued their medical education at the same institution, joining their Emergency Medicine Residency Program from 2011 to 2014. During this period, they pursued specialized training in emergency medicine.

After completing their residency, Dr. Decker pursued further specialization by undertaking an Emergency Medical Services Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine from 2014 to 2015. This fellowship allowed him to gain expertise in emergency medical services.

In addition to their extensive education, Dr. Decker has acquired various certifications to enhance their skills and broaden their professional scope. These certifications include Private Pilot - Instrument Rated from the Federal Aviation Administration, Aviation Medical Examiner (through the same institution), and being licensed as a Paramedic by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Furthermore, they hold the status of Diplomate (Board Certified EMS Physician) and Diplomate (Board Certified Emergency Physician) from the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Lastly, they are recognized as a Master Peace Officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
