Geoffrey Korone

Geoffrey Korone has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity.

Geoffrey started their career in 2007 as an Insurance Specialist and Researcher at Litton Loan Servicing.

In 2011, they joined Intermedix as an IT Support professional, where they provided customer service-based support for remote users and maintained Active Directory.

From 2012 to 2017, Geoffrey worked at National Oilwell Varco as an IT Data Analyst and Business Analyst. Geoffrey was responsible for data migration, maintenance, and integrity in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Geoffrey also played a key role in data process improvement projects and software/application updates.

In 2018, they joined BDO USA, LLP as an IT Consultant and Information Security Analyst. In this role, they acted as a liaison between the IT department and finance end-users and vendors. Geoffrey also performed defect tracking, testing, and validation for BOS ERP reports, and served as a subject matter expert for BOS report functionality and operation.

Most recently, since 2019, Geoffrey has been working as a Cybersecurity Analyst at the Harris County Toll Road Authority. In this position, they review escalated cases and incident alerts on a daily basis in the SIEM system. Geoffrey also updates security policies and documentation, and assists in security audits.
