Jannelle Dawson

Jannelle Dawson is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in supporting children, young adults, and parents through various therapeutic interventions. Currently serving as a School Mental Health Practitioner at Harris Federation since June 2023 and as the Founder of JD Therapeutic Services since January 2023, Jannelle specializes in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mentoring, and psychoeducation. Previous roles include CBT Trainee Supervisor, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, and Trainee CBT Therapist at Croydon Drop In, as well as Education Mental Health Practitioner at West London NHS Trust and Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Jannelle also has experience as an Education Support Professional and Counsellor at Richard Challoner School, working with students with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs. With a strong educational foundation, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from King's College London, Jannelle is dedicated to delivering effective mental health support and interventions.
