Ryan Butler

Ryan Butler currently serves as the Deputy Director of Entertainment & Culture for the Harris for President campaign, where efforts are made to integrate cultural influence into political engagement by forming high-profile entertainment partnerships to amplify Vice President Harris’s message. Previously, Ryan held various roles at The Recording Academy, culminating in Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and contributed to positions at Howard University as the Founding Executive Director of the Warner Music | Blavatnik Center for Music Business. Additional experience includes roles in media and education at Hampton University and Atlantic Records, supported by a Master of Arts in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Howard University.
