Christa Togans is a seasoned educator with a robust background in mathematics and instructional technology. Currently, Christa serves as Professor of Mathematics at Penn State University and HACC, teaching various forms of Algebra while also engaging with students at HBGSD as a Math Teacher. In addition to academic roles, Christa contributes to the community as an instructor for Hip Hop Hustle, PiYo, and Zumba at the YMCA. Christa's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from Drexel University, a Master's degree in MultiCultural Education from Eastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Penn State University. Active in the energy sector as an energy supplier for Stream, Christa has a diverse professional background that spans over three decades.

Harrisburg Area Community College-Harrisburg is the first and largest of Pennsylvania’s 15 community colleges. HACC offers approximately 100 careers and transfer associate degree, certificate, and diploma programs to approximately 17,000 students.
