Marie Elena Howe

Marie Elena Howe is a dedicated education and communications professional with extensive experience in teaching, tutoring, and media. Currently serving as a Teaching Aide at GLEE Preschool since August 2021, Marie Elena has also worked as a Writing Center Tutor at HACC since February 2012, focusing on supporting ESL and returning students. As the owner of Cupcakes by M.E. since March 2007, Marie Elena combines culinary entrepreneurship with educational roles. Past positions include Communications Manager for the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association, Assignment Editor at WHP-TV CBS 21, Copy Editor at York Daily Record, and Intern Reporter for Youth Today Newspaper. Marie Elena's academic background includes a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and previous studies at HACC and Bishop McDevitt High School.
