Jan L. Zeager, Ed.D., currently serves as the Supervisor of Special Education for the Harrisburg School District since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jan held the position of Special Education Director at Dauphin County Technical School from February 2013 to August 2023 and worked as an Emotional Support Teacher at Middletown Area High School from January 2004 to January 2013. Jan's experience also includes serving as a Residential Counselor at Philhaven from 2000 to 2004 and a High School English and Spanish Teacher at Harrisburg Christian School from September 1985 to June 1994. Jan holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, as well as multiple certifications and degrees in Special Education and Teaching from various institutions, including a Master's degree from Millersville University and a Bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University.
