William Sands

William Sands is a Full Stack Software Engineer at Gumband since June 2022, with a background in both software development and music performance. William has contributed to various orchestras as a Substitute Horn, including the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and the Syracuse Orchestra. Previous roles include Full Stack Developer at Globally Unified Air Quality, where William led the development of a cross-platform mobile application, and software engineering internships at Deeplocal and Maven Machines, focusing on interactive exhibits and micro-service architecture. William holds a Master's of Music in French Horn Performance from Yale University and bachelor's degrees in Applied Music from Eastman School of Music and Computer Science from the University of Rochester, earning distinction in both fields.
