Markus Bohr is an experienced Executive Pastry Chef currently managing the pastry operations at Harrods since 2008, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and conducting feasibility studies for new food and beverage concepts. Prior to Harrods, Markus held the position of Area Pastry Chef at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts (2004 - 2008) and served as Executive Pastry Chef at prestigious establishments such as The Phoenician Resort (2000 - 2004), Grand Hyatt (1998 - 2000), Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel (1996 - 1998), Grand Hyatt (1992 - 1996), and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (1990 - 1992). Markus began the culinary career as a Pastry Chef at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts (1988 - 1989) and holds a Master’s degree from Meisterschule fuer das Konditorenhandwerk Stuttgart, obtained in 1987.
